Overview

Chorsu Bazaar is the great domed market of Tashkent — a vast turquoise cupola over mountains of spices, dried fruit, non bread and Uzbek crafts, at the edge of the historic old town (Eski Shahar). It is one of the most photographed places in the city, and its own metro station, Chorsu on the Oʻzbekiston Line, opens right beside it, so no city bus or taxi is needed.
