Overview

Amir Temur Square is the green heart of central Tashkent — a shaded park around the equestrian statue of Amir Temur (Tamerlane), ringed by the Hotel Uzbekistan, the domed Amir Temur Museum and the chiming Tashkent clock towers. The metro station beneath it, Amir Temur Xiyoboni on the Chilonzor Line, brings you up right at the square, and a passage links it to Yunus Rajabiy on the Yunusobod Line.
