The Oʻzbekiston Line is Line 2 of the Tashkent Metro, running north-west to south-east for about 14.3 km between Beruniy and Doʻstlik and calling at 11 stations. It opened in 1984. It connects with the rest of the network at 3 interchange stations, where a passage links it to another line.

The route across the city

The Oʻzbekiston Line runs north-west to south-east through Tashkent. From the Beruniy terminus it works its way through the city’s districts to Doʻstlik, linking residential neighbourhoods, bazaars, parks and the central business area. Like the rest of the metro, its stations are worth a look in their own right.
