About the Chilonzor Line
The Chilonzor Line is Line 1 of the Tashkent Metro, running north-east to south-west for about 23.7 km between Buyuk Ipak Yoʻli and Chinor and calling at 17 stations. It opened in 1977. It connects with the rest of the network at 2 interchange stations, where a passage links it to another line.
The route across the city
The Chilonzor Line runs north-east to south-west through Tashkent. From the Buyuk Ipak Yoʻli terminus it works its way through the city’s districts to Chinor, linking residential neighbourhoods, bazaars, parks and the central business area. Like the rest of the metro, its stations are worth a look in their own right.
